Someone just mentioned Jack Clark in another post, Jack was my least favorite Red Sox of all time and it got me thinking.

Who is your least favorite Celtic of all time?

Has to have played at least 1 year and can't be a bench player.

I will share my answer shortly

Bob McAdoo and I don't even have to think about it. He was the antithesis of everything Red was all about and I try to shut out all those years between the 1977 season and the 1980 season. That whole period of Celtic history is kinda dead to me.

Not really going to give too much thought to this, but I hated Rick Fox.

I can't think of anybody that I hated worse than Mark Blount.

A lot of people will probably diagree with you, but I put Fox high on the list as well.  Going to the Lakers and wearing #17 as a dig to the Celtics was classless.  He was a mediocre player his entire career.

Sidney Wicks.  No close second.  It was fairly obvious from every move he made on the court that he didn't give a crap.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
Brian Shaw...I never felt the guy wanted to be here and thought he had a lot of untapped potential that never came to fruition.  He could have been one of the best point guards this franchise ever had.

But fortunately he was moved for Sherman Douglas.  (And that's a story for another day...).

In the front office, it was Rick Pitino...he only came to Boston for the money, and it was evident he knew nothing about how to build an NBA team, picking up scrubs and giving them big-money contracts that they never should have received.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Rick Fox
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Mark Blount for the obvious reasons is tied for my least favorite Celtic......tied with

Sherman Douglas.  I never liked him, can't put a finger on it, I simply never liked him.  His acquisition signaled the end of the Celtics that I grew up with, and in fact it was. (although he replaced Brian Shaw, who I also didn't like due to him not wanting to play for the team-- same goes for Jon Barry)

I thought this was going to be a spin off of the "I hate Gary Payton thread"  :D

But in all seriousness, it would have to be Mark Blount.
Celtics fan for life.

The one in most recent memory is Sebastian Telfair. He only started 30 games but I couldn't contain myself seeing Rondo sitting on the bench behind him.
