I'm not going to say how, but I already watched this movie. It's easily my favorite of the new year by FAR! I was skeptical about some old guy being an action hero, but 15 mins into the movie, I was definitely convinced. The movie is short about an hour and 28 mins. But after the first 10 mins, it's all action and suspense.

If your a guy, this movie will leave you feeling like you can do what Liam Neeson does. If your a parent, you will definitely feel for his motives. Altogether it's a crazy rollercoaster ride from start to finish. Put it this way, I have a perfect quality copy, and I'm still going to see it in theatres this Friday.

EDIT:**
Oh and I almost forgot, I saw it 3 times already. lol

My best friend got a copy of it and also said it is awesome.  He then lent it to a girl I'm dating to watch and she also really enjoyed it.  Meanwhile I havent even seen the trailer, so I guess I'll do that and then watch it myself.

Just watched this movie, completely kickass movie... tells you how much critics suck since before the movie came out, critics didn't like it. What a bunch of jackasses.

Liam Neeson makes this film. Everyone else is basically negligible.

It's almost like Charles Bronson in all those Death Wish movies, or any Kevin Bacon movie.

Taken is not a good movie.  It's an entertaining movie, though.  Everyone I saw it with enjoyed it.  It's like one of those dumb Steven Segal B-movies or something, but with Liam Neeson.

The most memorable part of the movie was how ridiculous the chick from "Lost" looks when she tries to run, though.   It's like she had to consciously think, "Hmmm... how do I make myself look like a dumb 17 year old when I run... ".   Seriously watch that movie and watch that girl run to daddy... my buddy and I (both familiar with Lost) couldn't stop cracking up.  What a bushleague actress.
