Okay so maybe I'm not that bright, but did he just imagine the whole detox, nailing Cutty night?

yes, he was hallucinating.

Yeah, great finale.  I remember thinking with about 10 minutes to go that not much had happened for a finale, and then that bombshell dropped.  Gotta admit, I didn't see that coming.

The one day detox seemed a little soon but i`d never have thought it was all in his head. To be honest the way it was going it seemed to have a "too" happy finale that we were not used to by the writers.

Is it fall yet ???

Man, did any of you watch last night's finale? It was amazing. The last 5 or 6 episodes of this season have been quite awesome.

Oh, and I need to get House to throw me a bachelor party.

Just unbelievable.  The writers are absolutely killin' it right now.

Alright, I've spent a good part of the morning watching all the promos for House season 6, and I simply can't wait for it to get here. Those scenes in the Mental Hospital look like a ton of fun, I kinda wish the whole season was in there.

Anyways, season 6 premieres 2 weeks from now, on the 21st with 2 hours. The show is now on Mondays.

Here are 12 promos for the next season. My favorite is #8.

Watched the episode, and though it was a good one. But overall I was a bit disappointed; thought it was going to be a lot more funnier than it was.

Still looking forward to the rest of the season, and whatever Houses' new role will be in the hospital. That's going to be a ton of fun.

Seems about where I stand - while I think the mental institution stuff was interesting, I'm surprised they didn't blend it with scenes going on back at the hospital - the idea of the Wilson cameo being the only real link to the rest of the show's cast and established character set was a little disappointing to me.

Good thing is that the premiere got some monster ratings in its new night. Heroes fans though will likely be seeing the last season of the show, they struggled with last night's premiere.

I DVR'd the episode, so I havent actually seen it yet, but I am looking forward to it a lot.

As for the heroes comment, I think it was terrible for the show to go against House.  I had to pick one or the other, and House easily won.  Heroes has been declining vastly now, and the fact that it is at the same time as house coupled with the pretty crappy nature of the show has made me decide to stop watching it.

I think the show will pretty much go back to normal in episode 2, so the disappointment will likely wear off.

I'm sure they just wanted to do something different so they could change House's character a little bit.  Likely he'll be a little less miserable, which might strengthen the other characters a little bit.  I wouldn't rule out a House-Cuddy relationship.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

The premiere is a breath of fresh air.

From the opening credits, any long time House viewer could tell the episode would be different.

There was no psych out "we're tying to fool you" patient in jeopardy.

There was no Massive Attack intro theme.

None of the the cast names were the normal recognizable ones, aside from Hugh, Franka Potente and Andre Braugher, I didn't recognize any other names.

After this premiere, I believe the show will return to it's tried and true formulaic approach, an approach some viewers grow tired of with the repetition etc.

The title of the episode was "Broken" and House was indeed broken. They decided to break away from their normal routine, so I have no qualms with the way they shot the premiere nor with the exclusion of the regular cast members.

I really wonder what network executives are doing. Most of their scheduling decisions are awful. They probably have farts for brains.

As for the House premiere, I think the best way to look at it is to think of it as a movie. But I really liked the episode, I just thought it would be a ton funnier.

I dont like the 8pm start time - for this one I understand since it was 2 hours, but I'd prefer 9.  Thats my gripe about House, haha.
