I like JJ Abrams stuff....but talk about an anti-climax.

Everyone knew except the people actually on the show. We've known this since the "multiple universes" theory popped up.

Good news, got renewed for a 3rd season yesterday. So no more worries at the moment for the poor ratings.

I really need to catch up to this. Haven't been watching at all.

Good news indeed.  This is probably my favorite show on tv right now.  Can't wait for the new eps to come back on in April.

yeah -  love Walter.  He is a tremendous actor.  He was Borameer's father in Lord of the Rings and did a good job with that (just as nutty).

I especially liked the episode when he got to experience the effects of having back the three pieces of brain that they took out of him.   What a personality transformation.

This is very good news. I have to say with the switching nights to the best night on TV (it takes me until 1am to watch everything, seriously.), erratic scheduling...I was worried that maybe they were setting them up to fail. Good to see a 3rd season.

Just finished the second season - Love it. JJ Abrams rarely disappoints. Hope the show will be able to stay fresh and not too predictable in the next seasons.

It's like x-files w/o the interesting story lines or good acting.
Little Fockers 1.5/10
Gulliver's Travels 1/10
Grown Ups -20/10
Tron Legacy 6.5/10

Just started watching Season 3, this show is better than the X-Files.

X-Files's 7-8 years got too formulaic.

By the middle of S2, Fringe had a perfect blend of serial/episodic.

If you don't think John Noble's acting is good, then I don't know what to tell ya.

Sorry Gregory House....Dr. Walter Bishop is the most interesting character on network TV today.

That's because House is not in season yet, LOL... don't you dare blaspheme... Greg is the G.O.A.T! :)

I love Fringe! I was hooked from watching the ads/commercials before season 1... saw the first episode and was happy a thing called DVR exists because I knew I had to see every episode!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I still love this show, but Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) has got to be the worst acted main character in television. So stiff, just can't act.

Everyone else, from Pacey to Astrid, to Walter, to Broyles, they're all awesome. Just not Anna Torv.

So I am watching Fringe and love it.  But am I the only one out there thinking and hoping that there may be some crazy connection between Fringe and Lost?

Could the FBI be covering up the plane crash?  Matthew Abaddon plays an FBI agent in Fringe and a recruiter of mercenaries in Lost.  Could he be a connector between both shows?  And what if Massive Dynamic were trying to find the island to exploit it's powers?

With J.J. Abrams working with both shows, it just has me wondering.

Many Lost and Fringe fans, including myself, have wondered -- even hoped for -- this. I saw the notion shot down somewhere, the idea being that Abrams simply liked Lance Reddick a lot in Lost and so gave him a much bigger role on his next show, Fringe.

I'd love to see a connection between the two shows, and I think it's doable, as well as logical. Nina Sharpe certainly seems to be devious (evil?) enough to attempt such a scheme as harnessing the island's power.

Also interesting is to imagine how Alcatraz, another Abrams show, might be connected to Lost. It couldn't be, really, because Jorge Garcia plays a different character on Alcatraz -- unless that's just a pseudonym or alias (Ah! Another Abrams show!) But consider re: Alcatraz -- an island? with mysterious subterranean hatches? and Hurley?

Dude.

Fringe is clearly the best of the 100 shows that have come out to try to catch a small piece of the Lost pie...Every one of the other Lost imitations have SUCKED.
