Considering this frustrating slump for the C's (yes, Rajon, it is now a slump), who do you choose as  the person least deserving of a trip to Phoenix based only on the games since Christmas?

Kevin Garnett
1 (7.7%)
Ray Allen
4 (30.8%)
Paul Pierce
0 (0%)
Rajon Rondo
5 (38.5%)
Doc Rivers
3 (23.1%)

Have fun, and then lets go vote for all 4 of these players on NBA.com anyway.  ;)

I'd actually be tempted to vote perk, who isn't in the poll. He went from beast to timid the last few weeks.

Other than that, everyone but paul i guess. been a pretty good team effort to stink it up this much.

None of the above.

The team is 29-7, for God's sakes.  I'd even vote Rivers to the all star game.

I just hope none of them show up for this meaningless glorified street-ball game.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I voted Rondo.

He's to different players when it comes to home and away games.

He needs to develop some consistency on the road.

I totally agree with you.  Hopefully you all get that this poll is in the vein of sarcastic fun.

Just to humor myself I thought I'd bring out this old classic:

"Larry Bird is not walking through that door, fans. Kevin McHale is not walking through that door, and Robert Parish is not walking through that door. And if you expect them to walk through that door, they're going to be gray and old. What we are is young, exciting, hard-working, and we're going to improve. People don't realize that, and as soon as they realize those three guys are not coming through that door, the better this town will be for all of us because there are young guys in that (locker) room playing their asses off. I wish we had $90 million under the salary cap. I wish we could buy the world. We can't; the only thing we can do is work hard, and all the negativity that's in this town sucks. I've been around when Jim Rice was booed. I've been around when (Carl) Yastrzemski was booed. And it stinks. It makes the greatest town, greatest city in the world, lousy. The only thing that will turn this around is being upbeat and positive like we are in that locker room... and if you think I'm going to succumb to negativity, you're wrong. You've got the wrong guy leading this team."

Just wondering, can a doc coach 2 straight all-star games? considering of course having the best record in the east.

I think the record at the cutoff date is all that matters.

So I guess its a YES! 4some odd reason i thought that coaches can't coach 2 consecutive all-star games even with the best overall record after the cutoff period.
