We are a 29 - 6 team how would it hurt to play a 7 footer for ten minutes a game instead of Scal or a poor big baby...Give the kid a run, let him get 10 minutes a game...who cares if he gets 6 fouls he'll probably average 7 rebounds and 4 blocks a game as well
At 7 rebounds and 4 blocks per game for 10 minutes Paddy would be among the Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell club in rebounds and blocks per minute.
Me thinks thou dost exaggerate a bit much.
O'Bryant playing against good players in meaningful minutes would be a disaster. He's not even coming close dominating play when he's in in garbage time against the worst dregs of the worst teams in blowouts. But we now eed to expect him to produce historic rebound and blocks per minute rates playing against first and second teamers in real competitive ball?
Doc has a very good handle on the POB situation and in this I trust his judgement. He sees what he is a lot better than we do and sacrificing games and leads to prove to the masses that Paddy sucks is a pretty meaningless exercise.
