The Clippers are rebuilding and looking to trade Camby for some perimeter help. All these contracts are short and manageable.

This trade would also allow the roster to be compressed into an 8 - 10 man rotation that included Marbury and Camby.

I'd like it to happen, but it won't. For starters, where's the perimeter help the Clips would get? Scal and TA?? Who is that an upgrade over? Also, why would Eddie House okay this?

Nice idea, but not even the Clippers would make this move.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Hmm... Eddie would probably hold it up... Unless the Clippers agreed to release him. This trade would be a starting point with Allen is a good defensive SG, throwing Giddens might spice things up enough.

Remember, The Clippers got Camby for nothing.

When does Camby's contract expire? He's on the books for something like 10 million...
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

He expires after next season and has a contract that decreases every year. Next year I believe he'll be at 8 Million.

Would The Celts make a run at Camby, absolutely. Would they get him for that package, absolutely not.

Never say never when your dealing with on of the most inept, cheap franchises in the NBA.

To get Camby we would have to give up Perk & they would have to take Scal & Tony Allen with him. So no for me with Perk & no for them with Scals.

Theres no chance. We just don't have the players or the salaries to make this move. It would have to take Perk, Scal, and maybe Baby or another fill in to make such a move. Im much more happy with a 24 year old double double Perk then a 36 year old injury prone Camby. (Even though Id love to have him here as a back up regardless)

I'm sure if we could do it we would.

The guy has averaged 16 points, 19 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in his last 5 games.

What if they'd settle for Powe?  Would you do it then?  I think I would.
