Sorry to say this, but this team is absolute garbage right now. When are they going to start playing defense again?

possibly when it doesn't get two of their main defenders in foul trouble on questionable calls.

Not saying its an excuse, but its real hard to play good defense when the refs send the kind of message they did to pierce and KG.

"No touching bobcat players outside the paint when they drive, oh, and no fouls for you going to the rim."

Absolute garbage, a little over the top.

They didn't shoot a crazy percentage. They got easy buckets in transition, that was bad. But mainly they only had 1 TO, we had 7. They also converted at the line, we didn't. Defense wasn't our biggest problem the first half.

It'd be nice if Pierce/KG got to the line some....

I'll stick with that description of the way they are playing basketball right now. Once again they are letting a bad team think they are good enough to stick with them. The C's probably come out and win it in the second half, but this play is not encouraging.

Good! yes! Good! Hang your heads on the way into the locker room, yeah, cuz this game is already over, right? Halftime is too late for us.

God. I'm miserable and disgusted. WHY WON'T THEY TRY???
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

hopefully dick will let paul play a bit this half and not call him for another ticky tack foul early.

EDIT: road troubles are nothing new for rajon as a young kid, check his splits.

Yeah, I've really noticed a consistent pattern for the C's on the road. We get absolutely no calls down low or going to the basket. In the past 8 games, I haven't seen a road game that was called evenly. First it was making me angry at the league and at the refs, but now I'm just disappointed with the Celtics. They're not overcoming it at all.

Perk is bothering me. He has awful hands, no post moves, and really does not get a lot of rebounds considering that is his one of his few jobs.

It truly is amazing how quickly they have gone from 19-in-a-row world beaters to a team that can't beat the worst teams in the NBA! They should win tonight, but the poor play of late against the weakest competition is somewhat mind-boggling.

Because in the NBA the better team always wins, especially on the road. Plus good teams never ever have to fight hard for wins. Gotcha.

Isn't this a better coached version of the same Bobcats ball club that took a last second 3 by Ray to beat in Charlotte last year? Should we really be that surprised?
