Just saw on the bottom line that big Z is out 4-3 weeks with a broken ankle I don't have a link but saw it on NESN.

So he is... fine with me I don't like injuries but anything that throws Cleveland a little off their game is okay with me.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Big loss for the Cavs although it might mean they discover their youngsters can play. I see a trade coming.

Yeah Anderson Varejao is gonna come up big I have a feeling...

Which is good for me considering I just picked him up for my fantasy team :)

Ilgauskas is a huge loss to the Cavs.

One of the big reasons their offense is so dangerous is Big Z's shooting. It creates spacing for the rest of the team, and opens the middle for slashers/cutters. Without Z around, the Cavs big men are all close to the hoop sorts so we'll likely see a big loss on the offensive end.

Remember last season, when Cleveland couldn't play Ben Wallace and Varejao together? They had to separate them and keep one alongside Ilgauskas and one alongside Joe Smith. This is the problem Cleveland will be facing. It'll be interesting to see if Mo Williams can help ease this, because it was a massive problem last season.

It also leaves Cleveland with only two established big men for a month. Good opportunity for Hickson and Jackson though.

I think this injury will put a lot of pressure on Cleveland's ability to hang in with Boston for the top seed over the next month. Ilgauskas is so important to that team.

Maybe now we'll have a shot at winning.

The way we've been playing lately, and the way Cleveland's been playing lately... we need the help.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Cleveland has been playing really well but that makes me optimistic because they (and Orlando) have played well in their losses I've seen when the Celtics haven't lost a game when they've played well. So if the Celtics can learn to play good games consistently on the road and at home they should stay ahead.
