It being New Year's Eve and all, i've been thinking today about what i could/should be doing differently come '09.  I haven't come up with alot (other than the cliche resolutions of a better diet, spending less time on celticsblog during work, yadda yadda yadda).  During this time of reflection, i realized that maybe i can apply a resolution or two to the Celts - or basketball in general.  Here's what i came up with.

Resolution 1) Stop falling in love with teams before they prove anything (i.e. Raptors, 76ers)

Resolution 2) Quit assuming that every free agent who joins the team will 'find themselves this year' because they will be practicing with KG/PP/Ray every day (i.e. Darius Miles, Patty O).

Resolution 3) Step into your jump shot! Don't shoot off your heels!!!!!
                     * that one is for me, haha.

So what can y'all come up with after a bit of reflection?

Not to have high blood pressure over Celtics losses.

Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.

I got one, how about we stop complaining about the Refs after every loss??

Man, we all look like such morons when 85% of posts on here are about the officials after each loss.  Nobody will ever go 98-0.

To continue to complain about bad officiating whenever I see it, regardless of who is involved in what game and whatever the final score was.

To figure out exactly WHAT Tony Allen is thinking about while he plays basketball. Cars? Girls? My interest is piqued. ;D
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

To be honest, Donny has grown on me quite a bit.  I used to not be able to stand the guy, but I've actually grown to tolerate him.  He's got pretty accurate insights most of the time.  He's no Tommy, but he could be much, much worse.
God bless and good night!
