Maybe Stern should stop hiring NHL referees because obviously these refs thought being in the penalty meant the Celtics had to play with a man advantage for 2 minutes or until the opposition scored.

all i see is a)

d. It is the responsibility of each teamto have the proper number of playerson the court when the ball is alive.Failure to do so will result in atechnical foul being assessed andcharged to the team.EXCEPTION: If the violation occurs on(1) a free throw attempt which is to befollowed by another free throw attempt,or (2) a free throw attempt that is notgoing to remain in play (3) throw-inbefore the ball is released

and earlier,

b)Section III—Elastic Power The officials shall have the power to make decisions on any point not specifically covered in the rules.TheBasketball Operations Department will be advised of all such decisions at thee arliest possible moment.

so, elastic power does not extend to dis-allowing a basket made with 6 players on the court?

It was freaking hilarious stuff. Oden is such a dope. No biggie, we're not losing because of it.

I'm starting to genuinely dislike this Blazers' team and their fans. Their sense of entitlement is beyond Lakeresque.

The replay is funny, Perk and KG are pointing out the six players to the refs and the refs are doing nothing. So their job was done for them and they still couldn't make the call.

The Blazers announcers are sitting here complaining about pushing and shoving under the hoop and the refs missing calls.

THE BLAZERS GOT A BASKET WITH SIX GUYS ON THE COURT.
