His wife is reasonably attractive and he managed to get her to not divorce him

He is a tall man.
I think the word "man" is a microagression in this context

He never backed down from taking a shot when a shot needed to be taken.

(or when one shouldn't have been taken)

I remember him in his prime as a cold blooded sniper, and momentum changer!

A real pain in the azz.

My nice thing to say about Kobe: his wife is smoking!  8)

Seriously, though, I loved his old-school attitude towards the game. Hard-worker and passionate player.

I used to hate Kobe when I was a little kid... man those times go by so fast. I have nothing but respect for him now, and I'd really like to thank him for the great battles he gave us; especially when the C's squared off against the Lakers in the NBA Finals. Those were times

In his conference yesterday he mentioned that when he used to meditate, his mind would always wander to basketball.  Now, it just sometimes does.

He truly had an obsessive love for the game, which I respect.

I still remember how excited I was when the Olympic team won the 2012 gold and I realized I would never have to root for Kobe ever again under any circumstances.  That's my happy Kobe memory  :)

Anyone saying anything disrespectful about him as a player is ridiculous. One of the best to ever play. Had a MJ/Bird/KG attitude about playing the game that I learned to appreciate as i grew older.

The only thing nice I’ll say about him is he’d play hurt. He’d play with injuries that would keep some players on the bench. That’s it, anything else I’d say about him isn’t nice at all.
