These jokes are all hilarious, and while the sentiment of the original post is fair as to the marketing of LeBron, he is, without peer, the best player in basketball.

Sorry, untrue.  Stats are one thing.  Physical ability is another.  Knowledge of the game, and team and individual success even more.

You put those all together, and Kobe is still unequivocally the best in the game.

Kobe's too much of a headcase. LeBron doesn't play games with his teammates, like not shooting for an entire quarter of a series-deciding game. He's unstoppable on offense, literally. No one can contain him. You can force Kobe into taking bad shots all night.

LeBron once got a quintuple-double...in the Slam Dunk contest.

The secret ingredient to Gatorade is LeBron's blood, sweat, and tears.

LeBron does not participate in the three point contest because he cannot, under league rules, be sent to the free-throw line.
