I really liked this anime to, i think bud mentioned it before but it's worth a watch.

Series has the best opening song in all of anime.

yep, and the end credits are a radio head song, which is also awesome

I've only seen the 3 episode OVA that came out some years ago, Phantom the Animation, and I really enjoyed it. I don't know how the tv series is.

Side note: paranoid android the full version is one of my favorite radio head songs.

MY favorite song is this one, which probably explains why this is my all time favorite AMV.

Although my ADHD got me sidetracked from getting too deep into Legend of the Galactic Heroes, I really liked what I saw from the first dozen or so episodes. Along one of my anime tangents I came across Planetes ....WOW!. A series about space "garbagemen" in the not too distant future knocked my socks off. I never thought that an anime that lacks the badass battle scenes, the political struggles or any philosophical hardships would totally kick ass, but this one did. This is one of those stories that you just sit down and watch and just enjoy how good of a story it really is. If you get a chance to watch this, you will come to appreciate what a good subtle anime is. Also, this is the first series that made me laugh my a$$ off.

Planetes is an excellent series. If you read manga, I highly recommend his series Vinland Saga.

I had seen Grave Of The Fireflies when I was a kid and I had a distant memory of this movie. I just watched it again (or should I say for the "real" first time), and it's just brilliant.

So beautiful but so sad at the same time, it's hard not to cry at the end... the music is great and sad too, and so are the characters, especially Setsuko of course.

Great movie but really "disturbing" in a good way. :'(

If you have never seen it you should really watch it!

all i could find when i looked a few days ago is this:

Quote
Justice's appearance at the end of Resurrection suggests the possibility of a third installment, but no official statement has been made as of yet. Okazaki himself has said that he has a long-reaching plan for the story of Afro Samurai, and that he hopes to realize it "before he dies".

So for now it looks like the movies the last thing done on afro, but the creator is looking to do more.

p.s Eddy how did those downloads work for you?
