i played a full season on my nba2k9 and theres been some roster changes made by the game, their both from trades and free agency. do you think that these teams would be better or worse with these players?

Portland Trailblazers

Mike Bibby
Brandon Roy
Shawn Marion
Lamarcus Aldridge
Gred Oden

with Outlaw as their first man off the bench, for the most part.

On paper, it looks a lot better. Mike Bibby and Shawn Marion is a huge upgrade over Steve Blake and Nicolas Batum. You should dominate with that team in 2k9.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

On paper -- and thus, in a video game -- it's better.  In actuality, I'd stick with what the Blazers have.  Blake is a good player who knows how to stay within his role, and Marion is a malcontent.

i'm playing against them, and in the game its more challenging. although the game thinks that oden is good, so that helps them too.

Well.. The Twolves seems pretty good. Clippers are the same.

I'd rather have Leon for $4 million than BBD for free. ;)

Why do you call Marion a malcontent? I don't see him that way. Because he asked Phoenix for a trade?

i think marion and bibby added to the blazers would be a really big upgrade, it'd add the experience that they need.

He's not a malcontent. But everything I've heard/read about him is that he's really a moody guy, who wants to be the number one option. Jack McCallum's book certainly paints that picture of him. Could be a bad rap, but it seems consistent with the information from other sources.

Those sort of guys can hurt the chemistry of a locker room, but he's not a coach killer.

Clippers look good? They are better this season with Randolph and Camby.

Isn't what you described a malcontent? He couldn't be a coach killer because he wasn't the best player on the team. You don't have to be a coach killer to be a malcontent. You just have to complain a lot and mess up team morale and cohesion by doing so.

i think he meant that they look the same as they look now in real life. not that they look good.

The Clippers look silly, and I don't think Minny is a good situation for Artest...he needs vets and a vet coach.

I hate Bibby and think Blake is every bit as good.
