It's impossible to predict because his success will depend a lot on who drafts him. If I had to compare him to anyone it would be a young Ray Allen. He can create his own shot, has solid ball skills, and is a competitor. His athleticism is underrated, but more importantly he's always in control. He's got the same silky smooth quality as Ray and wants the big shot. Plus he's always the smartest guy on the court and is coachable (help D, screens, charges, etc.) The obvious knock is size and strength which may make him into a role player if he's not in the right system. But if you put him with a big PG or in NY so he can be a scorer and not a distributor and guard PGs on D, he'll do big things in the NBA. Just enjoy him in college because he's the most exciting player in a long time.

He's not much like a young ray except they were shooters in college. I think people forget how ridculous Ray was attacking the rim in the early buck years. He was one of the few shooters who could really finsh at the rim as well. He refined an already excellent shot into a legandary shot as his athletisim started to leave him.

I think of him more like a young curry, I don't think we can predict what he'll do until we see his PG skills at the NBA level. IF there good, teams will have to respect him at PG, enabling him to play a complete game. If they aren't, teams will try to take away his shot since he's not a great driver, and then i think he plays more of an eddie house role off some teams bench.

Better than Rubio.

Yeah, but in a "JJ Redick is better than Adam Morrison" sense.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

A more athletic, bigger better passing Bibby. And that is saying something when you consider how good Bibby was in Sacto.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

A less clutch, poor mans Ray Allen. He's a good shooter, and teams are always looking for shooters, so he will be in the league for a while. But I just dont see him ever "taking over" a game.

Bigger, Better passing Eddie House. I think he could be quite the player on the Knicks.

If Curry is on a team where he has players around him that spread the floor, then he's going to be pretty incredible.  If he plays with a dominant inside player, then again, I think he becomes an incredible player.  If he ends up on a team that is offensively fragmented, with no consistent style, or discipline, then I think he disappears. He's got the goods to be a special player.  But like most players, he's got to be in the right system.

Might I remind you that Adam Morrison has a ring.

I think Curry will prove to be a better overall player than Ellis. He'll become crafty.

Curry better hope the NBA works out because he clearly cannot have a career as a rap star. Although probs to him for rockin'the Red Sox hat.
