Sorry to interrupt our Rondo love fest (believe me im part of it) but I dont hear anyone talking about our most consistent player so far this season yes im talking about Jesus Shuttlesworth. Compare his play from this year to this point in the season last year its almost like night and day! I remember reading an article about Allen at the beginning of the year saying its no longer the big three its only the big two  incredible some people in the media were counting him out before the season started. People tend to forget he was coming off double ankle surgery last year. Marc Spears had a great article in the globe about what Allen had to got through(heres the link if you havent read it yet) http://www.boston.com/sports/basketball/celtics/articles/2008/11/28/release_point_allen_needed_a_lift_last_year/
Im just curious Ive what all of you guys think?

There's been a ton of love for Ray... where have you been??

Ray's jump shot should be preserved in a museum somewhere.

He got a ton of agreement... there's no shortage of Ray support here by any means.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

I agree that Ray has been superb,,,,more deserving of an all-star spot than last year,,,but i dont see any lack of love.

I rondo gets discussed more on here because we are all hoping that he can become the consistent great player Ray is and when Rondo shows consistency like he has the last 2 weeks people get understandably exicted. hence the rondo love
Looking for a Sig designer....obviously i will be greatful with tps.

Looking for a Wire - Rondo theme....PM with ideas and I'll tp

Yeah, Ray's definitely been getting his deserved love.  There's been a good number of threads about him and how it's great to have the "real" Ray Allen this year.  He's been getting love in the game threads a lot as well.

I think with Rajon we're all more like proud parents.  He's been here from the start and we've seen him grow from year to year.  He made a great leap from year 1 to year 2 and is starting to do the same this year.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I love all of the Celtics......

There are no favorite Celtics right now, Each man continues to his part......

Gotta love Eddie House's hard work on defense despite apparent matchup problems on opposing PG's....

Only regret is BBD taking midrange jumpers - EEEWWWWWWWW!!!!

Yeh, that stretch last night where Big Baby and Scal were playing dueling bricks was a little rough...

ray allen is looking great. his ankles seem to be much better because he's dunking a lot more often and getting better lift.

Become Legendary.

I love Ray, and I agree with the sentiment of the original poster:  it seems that Ray is the least popular member of the starting lineup, for whatever reason, and many on the site don't sing his praises to the same extent that they do for others.  For that reason, Ray has become one of my "binkies" on the team.

I really hope the team can find a way to keep him.  I know his expiring contract is the biggest "chip" the team has to improve in the near future, but I'd love to see Ray end his career (and break Reggie Miller's all-time three point record) while in green.

All the negativity in this town sucks. It sucks, and it stinks, and it sucks. - Rick Pitino

Ray is my favorite of the Big 3. I've said it before, but for some years for whatever reason I always felt it was specifically Ray Allen the player that we needed in Paul Pierce's side in order to win a championship. The results speak for themselves. When we signed Ray Allen, it was a sign from God, or whomever, for me that *this* was going to be the year where we go all the way.
