Horrible call on the Rondo play - he only shot because of the foul, but he anticipated the foul and started his shooting motion before contact.  Smart play by Rajon and should've been rewarded.

And as a Syracuse fan, I have to say my favorite part of the quarter has been watching Hibbert get repeatedly punked.

I love how Rondo is playing with such purpose. I think it's safe to say the kid has figured it out. He's found the balance between drive and shoot.

I can already tell he is going to have a huge game from just this one quarter

How about that pull-up J he just took? Looked like he surveyed the whole floor in the air, then just decided to shoot.

  • Let's Go Celtics
Seems like we're not playing well, but we're right there.  Rondo, Ray, and KG off to good starts.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

What ever you ate/smoked that made you see the future, i want some of it.

On a more serious note, i doubt you can judge from one quarter what a player will/can do for the remaining 3

Didn't look that way to me.

I think he was just gaining his balance in the air.

I hate when refs wait to see if the shot goes in before they call the foul.

TP as always, do officials realize how awful that looks?

Its either a foul or it isn't.

Sure you can just look how aggressive he is.

Everytime I see Troy Murphy he reminds me of the big silent killer from the movie "Fargo".....the one that is stuffing his partner in a wood chipper at the end of the movie.
