Man, tough week for Indiana. Back to back against Lakers & Celtics on Tues/Wed, and then @ Clev on Friday. Brutal.

Yep!

Then on Sunday they play the Celtics again. Four games in six days against the top three teams in the NBA right now. Ouch!

They did beat us earlier in the year, but they have struggled recently and struggled hard.

I think they will turn it around this year though.

On the other hand, they have absolutely no expectations for these games -- maybe they come out so loose that they play well. Could be a big confidence boost if they could even split.

Nice observation.

It got off to a good start with a last second win over the Lakers.

Yep. 32 for Granger, 21 for Ford with 8 dimes.

I watched the game almost from the beginning. No D at all from either team. LA just gave up offensive board after offensive board until they went on and had something like a 16-0 run to end the 3rd after trailing by 2. After that, they  absolutely got nothing going on the fourth. On the other hand, Indiana just got it done and dominated the tempo of the game. Huge win for Indy. That last second shot was amazing and hilarious with all those bounces before going in.  ;D

I think we're beginning to see the Laker's defense come back down to earth. They won't be a bad defensive team but I think they'll be around what they were last year.

Pacers look to be a scrappy team I fully expect them to end up scaring someone in the playoffs. I hope the Celtics take it to the tomorrow.
