Love the throwback unis for the Sixers! Which other teams would you like to see don the throwback jersey?

The Warriors = "The City" unis.
Sweet!

Agreed.  Just as a side note, living here in the Bay Area I always love to see people wearing "The City" t-shirts.  Very cool.

Indeed.

Well, back to the game.
Enjoy, fellas!  :)

I'm watching the game on Comcast via Philly. The announcers refer to Doc Rivers as 'Glenn Rivers' because "there is only one Doc" (re: Dr. J). Pretty lame. One's 'Doc'. The other's 'Dr.'

One thing I will never understand.....

Reggie Evans airballs a free throw, doesnt even come close to grazing the rim, and the first thing he does is reach out for a high five from his teammates standing along the free throw box.

Handshakes and congrats after a made free throw is understandable, handshakes after a missed free throw, never understand it.

Some people call it encouragement and good sportsmanship......I call it communism.

Well I believe it is kind of the same.  Doc actually got that name because of Dr. J. I believe the story was he was wearing Dr. J jersey or shirt when he started playing high school ball, and no one knew his name, so they called him Doc b/c of the Dr. J jersey.

Plus, I mean, look at it from their point of view.  I'm sure if there was another player nicknamed 'Legend' or 'Chief.'  I would say hell yeah if I heard Mike Gorman say "Theres only one Cheif."

He is active, but if history is any lesson, I don;t think we'll see him in a blowout.  The only chance we'd see him is if there is a bunch of foul trouble or something unspeakable happens.  Remember how Doc used Pollard last year when he was dressed?  I'm guessing it will be like that.

Yeah, but 'Doc' is his name, more or less. It isn't so much a nickname. Chief, Legend, the Truth, Big Ticket, etc are nicknames. It's like not calling Shaquille O'Neal 'Shaq' because there is a player on your team whose nickname is 'Shack'. Utter stupidity.

Yeah even if Rondo or House went down, Gabe would be the one to step in.  Sam Cassell is basically the emergency quarterback of the team.

Working again, bothering CB again...

Thoughts on the green so far? I can't see them, so TP to anyone who can break the game down.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."
