See what rooting for the C's has to do with "the laundry"

Pending Kobe's consent of course

Trade

I died a little inside with this one. Love the effort and your point is well taken, but I don't ever want to see that collection under a Celtics logo again.

Wow I have not posted here in a few months but I had way to much fun trading all of the celtics for garbage here is my trade.

Celtics Trade

Garnet$24.75mm                Eddy Curry $9.75mm
to Knicks for  Jerome James $6.2mm
Rondo $1.3mm                  Malik Rose $7.6MM

Allen $18.3mm                   Ben Wallace $14.5mm
to Cleavland For Eric Snow $7.3mm
Scalabrine $3.2mm

Pierce $18mm
                                Eric Dampier $11.5mm
Powe $780k     to Dallas for    Stackhouse $7mm

I am not sure if the remaining celtics could win an NBA game.

Who can create the worst Celtics trade on the ESPN trade machine? I know I'm not the only one who wastes time on the trade machine. I have one to start with, but it's easy/lazy and involves the Knicks, which is way too simple. I'd love to see some 3/4 team gems.

I'll keep working at it. 2 TPs to the winner.

Throw in Perk, Powe and Rondo from our side and Jerome James for the Knicks. The salaries should match.

Well I'll be [dang]ed... Nice work BballTim.

This entire thread is a tribute to exactly how bad a GM Isiah Thomas was. Truly among the all time worst, just take a second to review it all and try to get in his mind for each signing. What could he possibly have been trying to accomplish? What an idiot.

It's amazing how even after unloading the contracts the Knicks did this past week they still have the most bad options for trading.
Yup

CANNOT GET ANY WORSE THAN THIS!

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=990~383~1717~509~703~739~9~261~2018~662~3026&teams=2~2~2~2~2~2~18~18~18~18~18&te=&cash=

Lose all 5 of our starters and get only 14 points of production per game back. 3 players havent played all year.

OK, here's mine:

Four way trade with New York, Denver and Miami. C's lose: KG, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Rondo, Perk, Scal, Powe, Giddens, Pruitt, Bill Walker, and Big Baby, and get back: Stephon Marbury, Mark Blount, Marcus Banks, Daequan Cook, Kenyon Martin, Jerome James, Nene, Chucky Atkins, Joel Anthony.

Tony Allen, Sam Cassell, Eddie House, and Patrick O'Bryant are the only current C's that stay with the team, and that's only because I couldn't trade them , trust my I could have found much worse.

The only problem with trades involving Starbury, Malik Rose, etc., is that they bring cap relief.  The idea should be bad players *and* bad contracts.
