Bay Area announcers: "Celtics play with a level of physicality that not a lot of teams can get away with"

Interpretation: Celtics aren't whisteld for defensive fouls when they should be.

My take: GSW announcers aren't used to watching a lot of defense.

Docs 4-guard line is proving an effective match-up.

Ok, well not double digits, but still pretty much the ending i expected. Play like crap for 3/4 of the game and win. It is no way to play the game, but if they can find the right combinations off the bench as the season moves on, they will be fine.

I still think this team has another ring in them, they just need to figure out how to get that bench working better.

That's a great comment, TP (one away now).

Nice W by the Celtics for what could have been a trap game.

The way the game unfolded reminded me of a few years ago when the Celtics were really bad -- they would hang with a team like the Spurs, but then would lose in the end.  I would excite myself that the Celtics were able to hang with the champs, but what was really happening is the champs were playing at 75% until it counted, then would put the game away...

The bench needs more consistency. It seems to be all (great performance) or nothing (terrible performance).

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Rondo was the best player out there tonight.

I love the consistency he's been bring the last few games.

His stats 22pts, 8rebs, 7asts, 2stls... oh so pretty.

I didn't get to see the game. Rondo had a killer stat line - was he as dominate as his stat line suggests?

Oh, well that answers my question. I guess that's why you get the red "warning" when someone posts while you're typing your own post...
