Key Matchups
  vs
Paul Pierce and Richard Jefferson have had many battles over the years when RJ was in New Jersey.  In their last meeting in Boston Pierce got the better of the matchup with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists to 20 points 5 rebounds and 2 assists for Jefferson.

  vs
In the last meeting between these two, it ended fairly evenly with Rondo scoring 8 points to 12 for Ridnour, but he also had 8 assists to 4 for Ridnour and 3 steals to 1 for Ridnour.   Rondo has a quickness advantage, but Ridnour can hit the open show and so Rondo needs to stay on him defensively.

Honorable Mention
Kevin Garnett vs Luc Mbah a Moute
Denver's second round draft pick has been opening a lot of eyes and with the injury to Charlie Villanueva has moved into the starting lineup.  This should be an interesting matchup on both sides.  Mbah a Moute is young and athletic and a good defender and KG is in a league of his own and will be looking to school the rookie.

Game Notes:
The Celtics evened the all-time series between the clubs at 88 wins each with their 101-89 win over the Bucks in Boston.

The Bucks are one of the leaders in forcing opponents' turnovers with an average of 16.1 forced turnovers per game.  Since the Celtics are one of the worst teams at turning the ball over (29th in the league)  this could be a concern.

Both teams are playing in the second of back to back games and both had to travel since the Bucks played in Memphis the night before so neither will have an advantage in that area.   The Celtics are coming off a loss and the Bucks off an overtime win.

Keys to the Game
Limit Turnovers
No Let Up
Crash the Boards
Guard the Perimeter

I think one of the keys is being consistent for atleast 35-40 minutes. Last 4 games and most games this season have been up an down like a roller coaster  ;D

I expect the C's to come out very hungry tonight, I almost feel bad for the Bucks, it's gonna be a blowout.

Wow. KG, I dont know. the coaching staff constantly say "too many jumpshots" yet all he does is shoot jumpshots.

Scratch that...if he's just gonna miss layups forget it..Go Up strong big fella!

I know the Cs are probably tired, but without Redd I'm sorry 4 of these 5 starters are not even close to their Celtics counterpart, and even Perkins-Bogut is not that far apart. This should be a big win.

Don't like Scal this early. I understand he's probably not that tired, but let's be honest there's a strong reason why.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Much better game for Rondo so far. He's running the offense from inside the 3point line more often.

Unfortunately I agree.

The Celtics lead, what do you mean?
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

They lead just barely against a lousy team decimated by injuries and still dont look sharp
