This is the first game of the year that I've really been excited to watch (I was excited for the Cleveland game, but mostly for ring and banner reasons).  I can't wait to see us pummel these guys again.  I hope we come out hard in the 1st quarter and don't let up til it's out of reach.  Rondo's the key to the early minutes - if he's aggressive on the dribble everything else opens up.

JJ has been on fire this year.   I'm curious how our defense will be on him tonight.   I think if we get Atlanta in foul trouble we'll be golden as their bench is a little weak.

Also, I'm miserable that this is up against LA-New Orleans which is inexplicably not on TV (Chicago-Portland???) and therefore unTivo-able.  So I want to see big leads early so I can sneak peeks at that one.

Starting on Bibby pretty early, huh?
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Grande just made a good point early on, when was the last time Ray hit his first jumper of the game?  I can't remember it.

Please not another slow start tonight boys.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Some patented Celtics D would be nice right now.

Atlanta is hot, but is also executing very well.  Defense hasn't been great, but not awful either.  Pretty impressive by the Hawks so far.

Hmmm...Not good to see Paul tweak his knee right away
and these slow starts are something it looks like are going to continue

I'm down here in the ATL too, and though I bleed green, it's nice that the hometown team has a pulse again.  I'm happy for the Hawks so far.

Didnt think I was being rude, just a misunderstanding.   Anyway sorry.  I like this web page.  I just hope we play up to our potential, 2nd nite back to back games, and lets face it, the C's are one of the best teams in the league.  I'll say it again, Im just glad we've got some real b-ball back in Atl.,by the way the Hawks just went to 6-0!  I know that doesnt seem like much to a C's fan, but after the drought weve had here, Its awesome and something to finally be proud of on the court!
