Some more smothering D by the C's tonight took advantage of Detroit team that's not quite sure what to do with themselves just yet.  The odd pattern of a lackluster offensive start by the front 5, followed by some dominant bench play continued tonight.  Tony Allen had about as good of a game as you could ever hope for off the bench. 

Early report on Iverson in Detroit: an 0-2 record and a team that doesn't no what to do on offense.

My votes tonight:  TA 3, Ray 2 (shutting down Rip), 1 Rondo

1 TA for playing fast and capitalizing on the Confusion of the Pistons

2. Rondo for creating mismatches all game long and taking a serious pounding (really this guy is an iron-man like Bird or Iverson.  Gotta love the fact this guy is fouled at full speed 3 times a game and never backs down!)

3. Ray for shutting down his man (what was his name again?) and being a pure shooter who can light it up in a defensive showdown!

First two don't need much explanation, Baby was impressive with his shots, the jump ball he won, and overall hustle. Every time I see him play I wish he had just a bit more lift so he could finish!

Everyone seems to get it now.  Last year I felt like I was using a Martian language trying to get what I was out to accomplish across.
