The Allens are doing everything tonight, it seems.

TA, RA, and AI?

If he keeps turning the ball over, I'll def count AI as one of the Allens contributing to our effort.

i wish we could have Gorman/Maxwell permenantly...on the road obviously.
Me too, Max is very enjoyable to listen to. Those two have a good rapport too.

Such a great game.

It's also nice to have a former Celtic and hall of famer as the announcer.

Maxwell seems to know what he's talking about opposed to Donny who repeats the obvious over and over. I wouldn't have noticed how well the Celtics were doing defensively if it wasn't for Maxwell.

That was an excellent quarter of basketball. I’m giddy. Brilliant. Love it.

Detroits shooting is putrid: 10-40. C's messing with them somewhat but they've missed a lot of jumpers and put-backs, so C's are also lucky. Fortunately, C's have been tough on the boards and coralled a lot of misses.

I thought I would see a close grind-out game, instead I see the Celtics absolutely dominating the Pistons.

In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I love when the Celtics play such good ball on the road that it makes the other team look so pathetic their own fans boo them. Classy bunch of fans out there in Detroit. Go nuts when MC Idiot is doing his player announcements but if your team has a bad half against the best team on the planet, boo mercilessly.

I really like the way Rondos playing.  Hes getting into the lane easily, doing a great job at staying with Iverson, and almost picked his pocket in the 2nd quarter.

I said it in one of AI to Detriot threads earlier.  I'm much more comfortable with Rondo vs AI instead of Rondo vs. Billups.  Im not saying Iverson is a downgrade for Detriot, but against us, it takes care of a match up problem on one end of the court.

Offense is spotty, but I don't care.

Titles are won on the defensive end, and I'm gonna show my kids that first half when practice starts in a week.

Textbook stuff, folks.

I was about to say "great minds think alike" because I heard the Celtics studio guys talking about the Detroit crowd booing the Pistons. Then my son told me that Felger brought the subject up. So I guess I won't say what I was going to say because Felger does not have a mind.

He even makes his free throws
