Apparently the Bobcats are worried about depth at Power Forward. What about:
Glen Davis and Giddens for Jared Dudley and a future second round pick?

I thought about Davis for Dudley, but the salaries do not match up. I figured Giddens is the least valuable cheap contract we have, and threw in the second rounder to balance him out. The idea is this trade would fill a position for Charlotte and help even our roster by replacing one of our PF's with a legit backup SF.

Thoughts?

It says they're worried about May's conditioning, I don't think they'd take a chance on Baby also.

I don't see them moving Dudley.  If Wallace gets another concussion, they will need Dudley to replace him.

At best, I think this might work because they have Carrol.

And see if this season, Morrison could grow into a role player.  Otherwise, it is just 3 million off the cap next year.  Might make it easier for the Celtics to use the MLE next year.  The extra roster space can be used to find a big man defensive banger.

Why the interest in Jared Dudley? I don't see the appeal.

I assume it is because he is a legitimate SF with good size (although his quickness is somewhat lacking).  It doesn't hurt that he played College ball in Boston.

I don't think he is the answer.  If they are going to go out and get someone, I would prefer they got a veteran.

If they are looking for a starting PF we might be in a position to help them. He has KG in front of him so he doesn`t get a lot of minutes but when KG was out with injury we went 7-2 with him as a starter.I am sure bobcats would be willing to trade May for him...
