One of the great traditions in all of sports! The Celtics raising a championship banner to the rafters of Boston Garden (II). Has not happened in 22 years. And I will be

at Larry Buds Tavern in Wichita, KS.

You're going to be watching the game at a place named for a guy named Larry, though!!! That's pretty green in my book!!

... very excited!

Kidding aside, no big plans.

At this point planning on being on my couch, with my wife, perhaps also with another couple from... you guessed it, Cleveland.
Celtics fan for life.

I've heard about the Comcast party at Johnnie's On the Side.  Anything else going on in the city or around the Garden before the game tomorrow night?
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Section 317 as always :)

What is this party at Johnnie's On the Side?  I have a midterm at 4:30 at Salem State and if I finish early enough, I think I'll try to make it there.  Can I get details or a link to details?

It's sponsored by Comcast, some WEEI guys are gonna be there.  That's about all I know.

So..........anyone want to sell their tickets to tonight's game??

I'm only kidding, mods. Just kidding!

No, really, anyone? Anyone?

Guess I'm on the couch, laptop in hand, watching and reading the game thread. I think a glass of champagne might be necessary tonight, maybe one.......or two.

It's like Christmas morning.

The day has finally arrived.  Can't wait for tonight.  Meeting my buddy downtown for a beer or two and then head into the Garden with plenty of time to see the ceremony.  Gonna be a blast.

Just printed out my tickets (I didn't want to take the real ones, because I didn't want them to get folded or anything), and now I am just staring at them.  Today is not going to be very productive.
