High 50's to low 60's winning record, depending on the competition (or lack of) for HCA.

My guess would be in the mid 60s again. Our starters are back, Tom Thib. is back and if they commit to defense once again, then I would expect this team to be the best in the league again.

It's important to get all those wins because we need homecourt advantage.

Good luck C's

82-0...

But to get a more concervative number, given that we remain fairly healthy throughout the season, I'm going with 74-8.

I think this will be a much better team than last year... the X factor to me is how much Doc will play the main guys, and how hard they'll play through the entire season.

74-8? Really? That would be the best ever. Even Jordan's Bulls couldn't go 74-8. This league has a lot of good to very good teams in it. I believe the Celtics are the only great team, but evena great team can get beaten by a good one on a random night. Sometimes shots don't fall and the ball doesn't bounce right... usually more than 8 times a year.

I say 63-19 because the bench will be playing a lot more this year. I agree if we pushed our team to its limit we could wring maybe 70 wins out of them, but at what cost? Doc won't do that. He'll rest the starters a good deal, since he seems to have a nice bench this year. Between 60 and 63 wins is my best guess.

Six championships say otherwise, chief.

The Lakers have won 15 championships... that doesn't mean that they don't suck. Bottom line is that Jordan's Bulls suck.

The Lakers have only won 14.

So by suck you mean... you don't like them?

The Lakers have won 14 championships in their entire history; its not fair to compare that to one short span of time, i.e. Jordan's Bulls. Jordan's bulls were around for a decade, and the Lakers have been around since the league started.

I hate the Lakers too, but you can't say they suck... unless your referring to the way they act on and off the court, how they manage their teams, and who the people in the organization are. Because all of those aspects of the Lakers DO suck... just not their team.

I think this team wins in the mid 50s, keeps the big 3 healthy, develops the young guys and makes a strong push in the playoffs - if the league has its way, I think it may be Lebron's year, but I'd imagine an ECF of Cleveland and Boston and a WCF of N.O. and LA with N.O. and Boston in the final....
