I wanted to dust the cobwebs off and see if I remembered how to run one of these.  Hopefully most of you are familiar with how the voting works.  I'll get into more detail for the regular season.

I was keeping my eyes open with toothpicks to watch this one on Tivo.  Suffice it to say, Walker woke me up pretty well a couple of times.  Sweet dunks.

Not much in the way of analysis to offer here.  The starters looked ready to go already.  Miles looks big.   O'Bryant looked serviceable.  TA looked spry but all over the place. Scal looked brutal.  Thaddeus Young looked unstoppable!

My votes: O'Bryant 3, Walker 2, TA 1
Yup

...and yes Wide Load, the only thing more irrelevant than an MVP Poll after a loss, is an MVP Poll after a preseason loss

I spread the love around - 1 each for - Rondo, Ray, KG (he deserved two but couldn't decide who to leave out), Pierce plus Paddy and Tony who both had very good games.

My votes: O'Bryant 3, TA 2, Walker 1

3. P.O'B is a very good find as a genuine back up Center and could step into the starting role if need be at this point; With many years ahead in his career with proper coaching and given minutes with the starters, I can see him growing into a good and valued player as a starter at his NBA center position, eventually! I'm very pleased with the signing now and our prospects for his future with the Celtics!

2. T.A. looked to be improved in terms of his knee and confidence in having overcome that surgery now; Slashed nicely to the rim and finished +1, and did a fine job defensively in 27 minutes...

1. Billy is explosive and played well beyond his years, this kid is going to be truely somethig special eventually and fun to watch already.

Verdict: the Kids are all right ;)

Danny Ainge!
He got us Walker and Obryant STEALS.  Both look like eventual starters in the nba.  Miles looked good enough to be on team.
2nd place mvp Rajon Rondo
Paddy O'Bryant 3rd

O'Bryant 3 (definitely the best player yesterday)
Miles 2 (for being able to play bball after 2 1/2 years, and actually doing it well)
Walker 1 (amazing kid)
