The eja household has decided it will not commit to using 28% less energy than we did in 2005 by the year 2025. I know. I'm terrible.

Pretty crazy to think that happened, right here, on American soil.

Why crazy? The US, as in many places, has been home to major battles in a civil war. Indeed, US history is littered with violence.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

As someone living now, at a time when it's been so long since we had a battle on our own soil, it seems crazy.

One of the basketball hoops in the rec center at the College Hill Recreational Center in Cincinnati, Ohio can actually move up and down slowly through remote control while you're shooting. Do you know how hard it is to make a jumper on a moving target?? We were all (Me and 3 other people) practicing dunking on it while it was moving up and down on time and I nearly broke my toe trying to jump higher as it was moving upwards. Also, the air conditioning in the gym is sometimes powerful enough to alter shots, especially from deep. Sometimes shooting a J feels like a rigged carnival; when you're outside suspect wind gusts throw off your shooting motion or alter the basketball's trajectory, in games people might clap their hands in your face right as you release your shot, flinch in your direction like they're going to punch you, put their hand in front of your eyes, call you ****ty if you miss a shot to try and mess up your confidence, etc., Hell, I've had people literally cry out screaming bloody murder as I'm taking a potentially game-winning shot (it even happened in the last game I played, but I still ended up winning the game with an easier shot afterwards) and I'm sure that in the NBA it's much worse. I used to rely on the deep ball heavily, but with this **** going down when I play games I just try to pick the best shot I can get these days. Mind you, I also have schizophrenia so I hear constantly voices taunting or trying to distract me as I practice shooting. These are the kind of things that can make you a lil crazy but I try not to lose faith in my game.

I just bought my first smart phone. I thought the upgrade would be immediately apparent but so far it is several steps backwards and seems quite clunky

My wife sends me a text message, it says "TP".
I'm thinking I just got a Tommy Point.

But I got to remember the TP because, unlike the Celticsblog, there are definitely negative Tommy Points at home.
