Someone has to cosign this one

New Black Milk

Not everyone is gonna like it, I think it's dope.

This is what I'm talking about. Changing the game, but staying close to the roots of what makes this music great.

The beat sounds a little off at first, but give it a minute. THIS is hip hop.

It's ok, but it doesn't really impress me.

THere's nothing really different about it, except the beat.

That's just my opinion, after 2 listens.

It doesn't impress me either. Beat gets annoying.

the beat is what makes it dope. it's musician's music.

i agree about the pitch shift on the chorus.

like i said though, it's not for everyone.

It's ok, the beat is good but it distracted me from the lyrics. I don't like his name...

I was actually waiting for another hip-hop thread...

Hip hop heads pay notice:

I've recently heard the rawest, most hardcore and controversial album maybe ever. It's Ill BIll's "The Hour of Reprisal"

The most controversial song is  http://www.youtube. com/watch?v=HAjyaMpu17c
WARNING - This song is very offensive...

This song will get national attention soon so I figured I'd bring it here first and gage the reaction that is forthcoming.

I will post my initial reaction to hearing this song after a few people get a chance to listen...

Ill Bill is whack, and this song is more proof. It doesn't matter if the intent is racist or not, white people do NOT say that word on beats.

Leave it to those losers from Coka Nostra to cross the line.

I love that beat.  The horn swells after each chorus are great.  With some verbal content, too.  Not bad at all!

outside of the high pitched intro and chorus voice, it's alright.  Heaavy beats, organ stabs and live horns.  His flow off sets the heavyness of the beats.  Original.  And unlike others, I think the beat is tight.

The best part about this, however, is that I noticed Jean Grae's Evil Jeanious is set to release next week.  Love her.  If you don't know, you sould take a listen:

The music in that Ill Bill Song is a song by a group called Dragonforce, they are hard, insanely fast, metal and they sing about stuff that should be in a Tolkien book. They are one of my favorite bands, I just wonder if they are in on their own joke, or really take themselves seriously.

That ill bill is pretty wack.  Black Milk's beat is pretty nice.  Lyrics etc. are nothing new or game changing.

Some really musicians =

It's absolutely horrible, as is most the music suggested on this thread. (Except for Dragonforce, of course.)
