Nope.  I don't really get the Kleiza fascination.  He's an okay player, but he's not a star in the making, in my opinion.  I think Denver is going to regret placing such a high price tag on him.

I don't know, it would depend a lot on how much improved is Big Baby and on whether the intention is to keep him or Powe (and, of course, on the Miles situation).

Kleiza would be a fine addition to our roster, I think, because he can guard the bigger SFs, especially shooting specialists, who will give TA problems and the later would guard the quicker ones that Kleiza can't stop. He's also able to score in bunches when hot and is always a threat from the outside (otoh, he can also shoot you out of a game, so Doc would need to manage his playing time the same way he managed Powe's).

I'd do a Scal+Pruitt+ Powe or BBD depending on who we want to keep for Kleiza+Hunter. No 1st round pick, though (that we don't have, anyway). TP for an intriguing trade proposal.

I'm not sure if I'm crazy about the idea of the possibility of having 2 subpar centers in PO and Hunter locked up for 2 years if they don't pan out.  I'd like to see how PO looks first before deciding anything and I really don't want to trade Powe.

I'd also like to see how the young guys and Miles do in training camp/preseason before deciding that we need to add another SF like Kleiza.

With the Sam Cassell possibly signing Ainge will have to do something to create a roster spot for him.  Should be interesting to see what happens.

Klieza is almost certainly better than anyone on our bench. Steven Hunter we call an "underachiever" whose potential ran out 2 years ago.

Tough call but I'd say no. I like my Powe angry and in green...not sky blue.

Definately not. Getting rid of Scals rediculous contract would be nice, but giving up Powe would not make it worthwhile. If it had to be between Powe and BBD, I would keep Powe. Powe seems to be a better player talent wise, more athletic, no weight issues, great work ethic, etc. I can not see Danny trading Powe over BBD.

No.  Powe and a 1st is too much.

I would not trade Powe under any conditions. He is our energy guy, is consistent and has proved himself. He plays well against bigger players. I'm concerned about a backup to Perk. I can see Powe as coming in off the bench for Perk because he'll be up against 2nd line players. The problem is really if Perk is injured. None of the people mentioned can take his place. I also don't see a free agent that could do it. I know I'll get alot of flack, but Perk is really an indispensable part of this team.

I think Hunter is a fairly decent backup 5. He can block shots and rebound and provide a similar (though lesser) presence. But I would only give up Powe and Scal for Hunter and Kleiza, who I like as well and good points about him made by Cordobes.
Anything is possible!!!

Exchange the first rounder with Pruitt, or a second rounder, and you have a deal.  I think Kleiza would be an excellent option as the backup SF for this team, and this would really help to fill in the holes in our roster with legit NBA players.

Although I agree if we are talking about throwing in a first rounder (it would have to be from 2011), I don't see why it matters whether Kleiza is a star in the making.  He is a very solid player off the bench right now, and plays a position of need for us (SF).

I think Kleiza and Powe have very similar futures as role players in the NBA, and they are a pretty fair trade one for one.  So then it would be Scal, and say Pruitt for Hunter, would make sense, because we are both adding depth to another position of need, and helping to clear up a roster crunch.

I think I would do it.  I agree with Chris.  Pruitt, Scal, Powe  for those two and maybe a second rounder.  That is solid Back up at SF.  Right now is looking like SF and C are our weakest, or un proven positions.  With House, Sam and T Allan and Giddens dueling for PG/SG spots....we only have Miles/Walker and a big Scal fighting for SF.  But that may leave us thin at PF...who knows.  Tghanks forall the coments

I completely agree...Denver loves to overpay for everything though.

I'd rather keep Powe, even though we're rid of Scalabrine.
