The US semifinal game? It doesn't start for 2 hours. Spain-Lithuania is on now.

I'm sure there's a place streaming the game, but in the interim there's this:

http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/summer08/basketball/men/playbyplay?gameId=828

That's for Spain-Lithuania.

Lithuania are currently leading 42-40 at the half.

Spain have played like idiots offensively, regularly failing to make use of their best offensive options, much like they have in several games during the Olympics. Spain's defense has been excellent, forcing many shots against the shot clock buzzer and keeping Lithuania outside of the paint. They've also gotten a lot of turnovers. If they were playing with a single ounce of intelligence they'd be up double digits right now.

Lithuania is playing desperate on offensive as a result of the Spaniards pressure. They're resorting to three pointers and it was looking dodgy 'til they caught fire halfway through the second to pull back the deficit and build a lead (down 8 to up 6). Wonder if they can keep it up. Until Jaisitis caught fire with three threes, Lithuania had only two players with more than one basket, they were struggling.

Lithuania are playing very strong defense themselves, but Spain's offense is playing without intelligence and that's the major factor in Spain's troubles.

Anybody's game. Spain are clearly superior. If they lose it's because they've underperformed and right now their problems are on the offensive end.

Spurs fans watching their season starting off bad.  Manu has hurt his foot again.

Argentina don't have enough scorers to make up an 18 point deficit. They're going to have to grind their way back into this ... and frankly they don't have the depth to pull that off. This game might be over already.

Great 18-0 run by Team USA

Same foot injury? It's his left foot he injured. I think it's the same. I don't think Manu has looked healthy at any point in this tournament. Scary time for the Spurs.

Spurs season was over before it began anyway, their front office has been a disaster area all summer. They don't have the supporting cast to make it out of the West.

Hopefully Manu will be alright.

Team USA is having a lot of problem attacking that zone defense. They've gone ice cold from the perimeter too. Might be time to call Redd into the game. Good work by Argentina to pull this lead back to single digits.

It's important that they hold the lead there going into the half, if USA gets it right back up it will have a demoralizing effect. Four minutes.

Argentina's bench somehow got them back into it (to an extent).

44-36 USA with under 2 min to go in 1st half.

Lead was 6 but ARG fouled Melo taking a three with .9 left in the Half.

49-40 USA now at half.
