My dad always said this in response to when somebody said he was a poet and he didn't even know it.

"I dig, you dig, we dig, he dig, she dig, they dig.

It's not a beautiful poem, but it is deep."

Nice.

What do you call it when a hen sees a pile of lettuce?

Chicken Sees-her Salad
You meant to say Chix sees-her salad?

Chicken Caesar Salad

Yup

A piece of string walks into a bar and orders a drink.  The bartender looks at him and says, "we don't serve alcohol to strings".  So, the piece of string walks out dejectedly.  The next day, the piece of string gets an idea for a disguise .... he ties his head in a knot and ruffles out the edges so it's kind of fluffy and heads back to the bar, walks up and orders a drink.  The bartender looks at him, and says "Hey, aren't you that same piece of string who tried to order a drink yesterday?"  The piece of string replies "No, I'm afraid not".  (I'm a frayed knot).
