Big Papi with 2 3-run homers in the 1st!

Excellent sign for the Sox.

Of course with the way Texas can put up runs they'd best keep hitting (and with Wakefield Jr. on the hill who knows what to expect)
Yup

It's that Paul Byrd "mojo".  I hear he got some from his dentist, and shared it with the team. ;)

Youkilis with two K's though. ??? I'm concerned.

Lol id assume your being sarcastic but incase you aren't, i highly doubt it's anything to worry about.

BTW, Lowrie is a beast.

You assumed correct. This reminds me of that Marlins game back in '03 where they scored 10 runs before recording an out, and Damon scored 3 times in the first inning. I'm banking on Timlin and Chris Smith getting some serious work in tonight.

As for Lowrie, I WAS in the "Let's not get carried away" camp, but have since seen the light. Should Lugo suffer a setback, I don't think that I'd be heartbroken. I really hope they can a find a way to dump him off this winter without having to eat too much of his salary.

Wow...well you now basically have a 2-0 game.  That was so freakin brutal to watch.

It's a [dang] good thing we picked up Paul Byrd cause this Charlie Zinc guy was really not that impressive.

David Aardysma drives me nuts.  Just when you think you can trust him to be a reliable guy in the bullpen he goes helps to the disastrous 5th inning.

I'll throw a TP your way, Redz. This game reminds me less of that more Marlins blowout from five years ago now. It's more like one of my softball games at this point.

Thanks.  Didn't the Sox lose the rest of that series to the Marlins?

Texas has had a bunch of these type games this year.
