need a good, cheap PS2 title (TP's to be earned)

so, with my xbox gone for another 2 weeks at least, ive dusted off my ps2. been plaing alot of "the show" but one can only dominate as a SS for so long.

Now, i have a decent size collection of ps2 games, but by no means do i have them all.

What i need is a good game that i can play for 2 weeks. I don't like racing or platformers to much. sports, FPS, or RTS/RPG would be best.

anyone got any hidden gems?

TP's for the person who suggests one i google and decide on, going to best buy after work. again, would prefer it to be a greatest hit or out for a bit and underground. dont want to spend 60 bucks.

Do you have Ico or Shadow of the Colossus?  Both are amazing.

Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII is a first person shooter, unlike those battle systems in previous final fantasy's.

Shadow is incredible.  Beautiful, challenging, and with a great story.  It's almost more art than a game.  Hands down my favorite PS2 game.

To this day I still play MVP baseball 2005.

MVP 2005 still has the best game play and is smoother than any other baseball game on the market hands down. I still play this game on a regular basis. MVP is good stuff.

got em. with filter, i heard after 2 they kinda stunk it up, either of the next two any good?

i wish they had made a new parasite eve, that was an under rated game IMO. i think there's talk there making a next gen one.

yeah after 2 the quality dropped, but not too much it was still better than a lot of what they put out there. splinter cell was overrated for starters.
