Danny loves Robert Swift (restricted free agent) and he has a relationship with OK GM Sam Presti. What would he have to do to get Ridnour and Swift?

All I know is Ridnour is without a doubt available. They are logjammed at PG, especially after drafting Westbrook

I doubt that the (Thunder?) would be willing to part with Robert Swift before he returns from his injury. They have pretty high hopes for him as their big man, and of their few young big men (Sene, Petro, Swift) I believe he, despite his injury, is probably the most valued for this upcoming season.

Ridnour on the other hand, obviously his value has dropped. I am guessing a team could get him for a draft pick (2nd rounder) and player 80 cents on the dollar. However, I don't think the Celtics have the chips to acquire anyone of real value, which is unfortunate.

If the Cs get Ridnour, that's gonna make us logjammed at the PG spot too..  ;D  :o  ;D

I am pretty sure if we offer Perkins and Gabe Pruitt for Swift and Ridnour, Seattle would agree.

I would not make that offer, however. (And Danny won't either, hopefully)

Luke's salary alone is around 6.5M and the combined salaries of Perk and Gabe would not suffice. If we take into account a Sign&Trade with Robert Swift, we need more chips. Guess Scal's salary might be useful for this trade.

But then again, why would we trade a proven starting center who has helped us get Banner17 and who has not yet reached his prime. I honestly don't know much about Swift but I wouldn't exchange him for Perk. With Gabe and Luke, that would be a nice idea. But i don't know if he'd like to be 3rd string PG or House would like to be 3rd string PG (in case the Cs decide to make Luke RR's backup) like when Cassell signed with the Cs.

I would trade Powe or Baby and a #1 for swift, along with Sal's salary if needed.

Hopefully, Danny's gotten his fix for a big, tall, unaccomplished underachiever.

I would not trade Leon Powe for Robert Swift. Under any set of circumstances.

Neither Swift or Ridnour is worth a first round pick to me so no way there.

I dont know why everyone keeps bringing up that we need a point guard -we dont! House and Rondo will be fine and Pruitt deserves a shot -also Swift is a waste of time to even talk about he is in the injury prone Scot Pollard club

The signing of POB has elimated any chance of trading for Swift.

Although I am a fan of both those players, I don't see it happening. We aren't gonna give up value (BBD or Powe) for guys who will come in and be third string.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Why does Pruitt deserve a shot?
