I suppose it's time I budge by inserting Bonzi Wells into the poll question... Earlier I broached the subject of the Garnett / Mourning combo being a force to be reckon with on the parquet this year, let me now add what could be a bullying one-two punch at swing-man for us when you think about "Wellsie" and "The M$&#!=}@# Truth".  They would partner to induce fits all year from Eastern Conference defenses!

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
At this point I would say I'd just like to see him sign one of those players (with a few exceptions). I would like either a veteran or a player coming off injury with high upside before training camp starts.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I'm surprised more people aren't voting for PJ.

For me, there is no question.  PJ Brown knows our system and has proven he can contribute heavily in the playoffs.  Mourning has him beat based of purely skill, and I'd like him on this team, but when comparing the two you have to give the edge to the player who has already 100% proven what he can do with this unit.

I honestly think PJ is overrated.

During the entire playoff run he played solid, but a step slow, and was scored on many many times by multiple players from all the teams we faced.

He was solid.. but a step slow. And this year he'll be a step slower.

As for knee recovery projects to pair with Walker, I'd go in this order:

1. Robert Swift (Was developing really nicely before his injury, still young, and injuries don't make you shorter)
2. Livingston (Still quite young, good defensive potential and court vision)
3. Miles (Was never really that good despite many years in the league; how good could he be now?)

Ya gotta go with Zo if he is healthy.

We would have the Zo and Powe show. Awesome. Scary for the opposition. 8)

Ainge does not see a need to sign a back up 3 right now? Does this mean more minutes for TA and Giddens, or is it possible that House may play shooting guard at times?

I really can't see Bill Walker getting big minutes.

Yes, but P.J. Brown came up bigger and bigger until he came up huge when it mattered most. I still think Zo has more in the tank than P.J.; however, as indicated by another poster, P.J. knows the system well. Why not sign them both and use them sparingly until we hit the stretch run into the playoffs? Not only do I want my slice of cake, I'd like to eat my cake, too!  :P

A Bonzi/Zo or Bonzi/Theo combo would be my choice.

livingston was my choice, not that danny give a darn.

if he returns from knee injury and can play to his potential, he has the best chance of the group given to become a superior nba player.

heck, it is only a blog, so why not shoot for the stars?

It would be pretty great if PJ Brown came back for one more year.

I'd take a shot in the dark with Livingston or Swift. Their both young and could still have a very bright future.
