i think i'm beginning to see Danny's plan...why pay posey 6 mil for the next 5 years, when you can get MJ for much less? haha seriously, if we could get him out of retirement to play with us, i'd be excited...MJ at 45 is even better than the idea of reggie miller at 41 last year, i think!

Seriously. Sometimes I forget how stone cold confident MJ was (and I lived in Chicago his last three championship yrs!). I'd be fine with signing MJ, but he's not worth the full MLE

You do have to look at the fact that those were kids - but just saying he's going to hit those eyes closed shots and doing it in front of a huge crowd is crazy. An injured Jordan almost carried the terrible Wizards by himself to the playoffs both years in WAS, and put up 22/6/5 - he could still be a solid player today.

In fact, during the first half of his comeback in '01-'02, he ahd the Wiz in the playoff pictures - despite a bad knee - while putting up like, 26/6/5 at age 38. Just crazy.

I don't care that it was just little kids... that was great.  Nobody will ever be as good as MJ.  I love seeing the old man get it done.   Man the guy was like 40 and still one of the top 20 players in the league statistically getting like 20, 5 and 5.   Ridiculous.

I think the showdown between Kobe and Michael would be epic if you could somehow get them both in their primes...

The video was great, having gone to many basketball clinics when I was a kid, I remember trying to box out Clifford Ray, getting swatted by Robert Parish.. and the feeling is pretty cool, I can't even imagine what it would be like to try to guard Michael Jordan, I am sure he would've dunked on me several times. An experience of a lifetime for those kids.

And then the stupid kids in the background yelling out "dunk it, dunk it".  These kids didn't appreciate what they were in the presense of.
