The San Antonio Spurs re-signed forward/center Kurt Thomas on Tuesday.

Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Thomas averaged 4.5 points and 4.9 rebounds in 18.7 minutes per game for the Spurs last season and should battle Fabricio Oberto for the starting center job.

Theo is still out there. I find it odd that Detroit haven't moved on him, they must be serious about playing Amir and Maxiell more minutes. If Detroit doesn't offer him a home I think he'd be open to returning to Boston. He'd be a very nice fit. I'd like to have Theo.

I'm assuming Alonzo and Deke will only stay at their respective teams if they play another year so I'll strike them out.

That leaves Elson, Skinner, Foyle, Andersen ... perimeter bigs and guys like Dwayne Jones.

Theo looks the most interesting to me. He'd be great insurance for playing against Dwight and a few others.

No surprise here.

Bring PJ back. Wouln't mind Ratliff, but I think Detroit will eventually re-sign him. Skinner is acceptable as well.

What about Kwame? I say it needs to be Kwame or the Birdman to fill out or roster. That or pray Zo will play the second half of the season for us.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Hopefully for the Spurs Thomas plays better next season because he was quite a poor fit last season.

I kind of like the idea of going through the first half of the year as is.  It will give us a chance to evaluate Patrick Obryant a bit and develop Big Baby further.

Also, I feel that Leon's play last year, paticularly in big games, warrants him the opportunity to expand his role this year as our primary backup 4/5.

That said, the only way I see us NOT adding a another center down the road is if the TA/Scal platoon at 3 doesn't work out, or if one of our backup pgs get hurt.

Ainge has put together a lineup that affords us the luxery of wait and see.

Thats too bad... but expected. I also like the Ratliff idea. And I am surprised the Pistons haven't resigned him yet.

I agree with the consensus, that this is our team. And we'll see a big come on board sometime from Oct-Mar. I'm hoping it is Mourning (assuming the heat will stink).

would've been nice, but unrealistic with 15 already on the roster. I don't see Danny entering the season with the max 16 players under contract. Unless we make a move this is the team going into training camp atleast.
