studs

JJ hickson looks like a nba vet playing among children out there. He is just so strong. Against real nba players though he prob won't have his way, but with more experience looks like he will be a good nba player

Donte Greene is a carbon copy of rashard lewis. He can flat out shoot, not much more otherwise but he is an offensive machine. I know if he fell to us danny would have snatched him without a thought and prob could have got giddens later anyways.

Jarryd Bayless is mad and i didn't know he could play like this. He reminds me of a shorter ray allen, who is well conditioned and can shoot and drive . Can't say pacers made a mistake yet not seeing rush play

Kevin love = younger lafrentz. Looks like he is proving me wrong and is in better condition than ever.Fundementally sound and looks like he doesn't make many mistakes. He and Jefferson could be an underestimated tandem up front.

Pettiri Kaponnen i knew was talented but he is proving it now in the summer league. He looks like a hinrich clone but with even a better feel at the point

Disappointments

Oj Mayo is like tashaun prince imo. A guy that will contribute have a couple of explosive games but doesn't have that desire to be great. He has no leadership abilities also. Memphis made a mistake giving up love??

Beasly had one good game but thats about it. He is a tweener at only 6'7. Glenn robinson , carmelo anthony part two at best

Derrick Rose got injured but didn't look like the same derrick rose we saw before the draft. I think he will snap out of it eventually. But had a so so summer for a #1 guy

Players i anticipate to see

Greg Oden = to see if he is healthy and if he has the passion to be a great center

Jr Giddens = To see how good he really is and if danny made another steal at the draft

Mo Brook's report on summer league (worth a read IMO):

Glad to see Joey Dorsey gets a tech foul while in street clothes :P
Anything is possible!!!

Seems to me that you have some homework to do. You couldn't be more off about O.J. Mayo.

I actually disagree with other things you said as well. Donte Greene had that one monster 40-point game, which is the only thing that sticks out in people's minds, but he was as up-and-down as anybody else in summer league after that. Shot selection? Nonexistent. Defense? Can't spell it.

Love is also nothing like LaFrentz, in my eyes.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
If there's one thing I've learned, it's to put very little stock in summer league.

2003 All-League First Team: John Salmons MVP (Philly), Kedrick Brown (Boston), Brandon Hunter (Boston), Devin Brown (San Antonio) and Donny Marshall (New Jersey)

2003 All-League Second Team: Marcus Banks (Boston), Juan Dixon (Washington), TJ Ford (Milwaukee), Carlos Boozer (Cleveland) and Brian Scalabrine (New Jersey).

All the negativity in this town sucks. It sucks, and it stinks, and it sucks. - Rick Pitino

Portland CrotoNats:  2009 CB Draft Champions

Very true, and most recently Marco Bellinelli, I seriously thought he would've had Ben Gordon-esque rookie season last year.

The Donny Marshall from Fox Sports?

Yes sir. He had a short NBA career, where he played for New Jersey, Cleveland, and maybe one other team that I can't seem to remember.
