He's a pretty good player.  I'm not surprised that he is one of the first RFAs to get an offer sheet.

That would be a very good get for the Clippers.

I don't think Mully matches but there's a decent chance he does, depends on how many years are included.

that's really cheap... to me his highlights make him look like an allstar player. i think for that price we should've snagged him. (yes i know we have a ton of wings already).

not nesscaraly, we can offer more than that if we wanted to, and we have 9 days to do it.

I don't think so.  Once you sign an offer sheet, you've essentially entered into a contract.  He'll be bound to either the Clippers or the Warriors.

has he signed an offer sheet or been presented one? my impression was that he had been "tendered an offer" which is not the same as "signed a qualifing sheet"

if he's signed the sheet already then he's not a possablity, but thats not the impression i got, i may have missed something however, skimmed the article during a break at work.  ;)

The article said he signed an offer sheet.

If another team just made him an offer, I doubt it would be big news; teams make offers to players all the time.  Certainly, it wouldn't start any countdown by which the Clips had to match.  All of that comes into play when the player actually signs the offer sheet.

Once he signs that sheet, it's either the new team (the Clips) or the old team (the Warriors).  A third team can't swoop in and offer something better.

He'll end up in LA. I'm betting that the warriors will be making some crazy changes this year...Monte Ellis is a big ???, Harrington will probably be traded, and maybe Marion will end up there? Who knows, but something big will happen.
Can't stop, Rondo!

marion would fit in gsw, they practically play the same as phoenix: no defense and fast fast breaks.

If the Warriors match the offer then I think they are extremely unlikely to make any type of offer to Barnes. Last year they didn't pursue him but then when he was still around for cheap at the end of the season they signed him for another year. This would mean that he probably wouldn't be welcomed back even as an after thought.
