I'm intoxicated with his speed, he's matured as a person over the years and would be a good fit.

Based upon what?  I'm not necessarily disagreeing, but I haven't heard any evidence of this.  I know that neither D'Antoni nor Riley was enamored with him.

Based on human nature I guess.

I can't tell you how much I've grown, matured and learned in the last six years (since I was 18)

Late teens to mid-20's is a "growing up" time.

P.S I know Banks played at UNLV and wasn't in the NBA at 18.

I don't know...Maybe I'm just intoxicated period.

Why or why not?

I would, Boston needs a backup PG and he can play great team defense.

No, we need someone to drive injured players to the hospital!

And as we all know Marcus can't drive... :)

No, he's a worse player than Scal and has a worse contract.

Banks need to learn at a lower level than a contender. Miami isn't a bad place for him, he can back up Mario Chalmers.

I agree he has a worse contract and is not as good of a locker room guy, but I 100% think he is a much better player. His game has improved quite a bit since he played in Boston.

apperntly no one informed phx or the rest of the league of his improving play style.

Banks is not worth what he is getting paid. On the other hand neither is Scalabrine. But if you gave me the opportunity to trade Scalabrine for Banks, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

It's amazing how blurred our thoughts on Celtic players become after winning a championship. 33 year old Ray Allen becomes untradable, James Posey worth is more than this teams future, and now Scalabrine has become a folk hero, because of his IQ.  :P

Why is everybody interested in our old damaged goods? Antoine Walker, Gerald Green, and now Marcus Banks? Why?

I would. Banks has improved his three point shooting, he has an excellent handle and he can slash to the basket. Scal - probably wouldn't make our rotation. It's pretty evident he has an attitude problem though - so it would be up to Doc/Danny if they could handle him. I doubt they would bring him back though.
