i dont' know how the cavs could keep both gibson and west. they both need to be starting combo guards, and both don't look as great coming off the bench. west deserves big mins, but he can't get that as gibson needs his minutes to hit 3's,etc. maybe we could end up with west after all...cassell is doubtful to stay anyways, so maybe we resign house and pick up west.

Why do they need to start?  Neither one is really a starting caliber player.

Cavaliers guard Delonte West has drawn some interest around the league, but his "restricted" tag has scared off any possible suitors.

Like Cavs guard Daniel Gibson, West has not found any team willing to sign him to an offer sheet. Other teams figure the Cavs will merely match the offer sheet.

Sources say the two sides are not close to an agreement at this time and a couple sign-and-trades have been discussed. The Cavs definitely want him back. -- The News-Herald

I still believe he plays for the qualifying offer this year to be come an unrestricted FA next year.
