I checked it out this weekend. I must say I was very impressed with Yao's maturity and how well he handled his transition to the US and NBA. I was wondering if anyone else has seen it. If so, what are your thoughts?

She just asked what our thoughts were.
Does it matter that it's five years
since it came out?!
It can still be a good movie.
It's like discovering "new" music:
It can still be very cool even if
the band has been gone for 30 years!

I enjoyed it but more because of the "behind the scenes" feel to the whole thing. Yao definitely seems like a good guy, but a lot gets lost in translation. And the interpreter guy is a bit of a geek (which I guess makes it funnier that this nerdy dude is hanging out with famous millionaire ballers). The best part of the movie is when he's making a commercial and rips the entire backboard off of the set.

Thanks Genius!

I thought it was real interesting....the pressure the guy had on was immense that first year in the league....and he was only 22 years old....worth checking out if you are a b-ball fan....
