Not surprised.  At least he gives it his all when playing unlike most of the Bucks roster last year.  I'll never forget when he was hi fiving air because none of his teammates went to hi five him.  A little bit overpaid but most big man are.  Look at Blount...

Another bad contract in Milwaukee. Days like today make me wish I was an agent.

One of the best young big men in the league that has been developing his game steadily and is a high character and hard-working player. I can't see the overpaying, particularly if he develops a jump-shot. He'll be making $12M/year, Maggette just got a $10M/year contract.

Also, he's well-spirited and not another selfish Edited for profanity.  Please do not do it again. like many in that team:

Bogut signed a bigger contract than Al Jefferson?!

That eithers tells me that the Bucks have a bunch idiots in their front office or Kevin McHale was a genius for getting Big Al to take a mere $65 million over the same time.

You're too nice a guy to be an agent RR. Agents are scum.

over 14/year! That's a wee bit high. What team would have gone that high on the open market??

12/year max should have been enough: 60/5. Oh well. Good luck balancing that budget Milwaukee..

Well, Al had slightly better off. stats after his 3rd year (+1rpg, +2ppg), but Bogut is:
- a legit 7ft. and a true center.
- a way better passer.
- can defend.

I'd offer him a better contract than to Al.

Alright, so it looks like its 5 years $60 million with $12.5 in possible incentive bonuses.  Looks like the agent was revealing the maximum figures (as he should).

So, on second though, the base terms aren't terribly bad.  Still not a huge fan, though.

Well, this is the season when everyone overpays.  Diop got the full five years starting at the MLE from Dallas, Beno Udrih got it from the Kings... the list goes on.

Buyer's remorse won't set in until next January.

That is ridiculous

Jeez ... I'm not even sold a Mo (selfish runt)/Redd/RJ/Bogut tandem is a playoff team and the Bucks are paying them contenders money.

Bogut is a fine center. He's a Vlade Divac type. Has some scoring ability but not a huge amount. Good rebounder. Good passer. Solid defender but not a standout.

The money he's getting paid is ridiculous and it will doom their organization for several seasons to come.

Andrew Bogut has agreed to a 5-year extension worth $72.5 Million.

This might even be crazier than the Beno and Turiaf contracts.
