Yeah, after that game 6, this has to be a kick to the sack of Laker's fans.

Look at the Zen Master on that cover.  Shouldn't that be a picture of him at a press conference complaining about the officiating?  That was the most coaching he did during that series.

They are going to win next season.

...and in the unlikely event that they do, us Celtics fans will still be laughing over the humiliation the Purple and Gold were submitted to during the `08 Finals

Yup

  • "This is beautiful. What is that? Velvet?"
I would love to sit through a whole DVD of how great the Laker's season was, just to watch them get destroyed by the Celtics in the finals.

I already ordered the C's DVD, put me down for a Laker's one too.  Either disk is guaranteed to have a happy ending.
"Coach you were 24 and 58 last year, why the playoff talk?"
"Well we made a couple of key trades . . . and we got The Funk."

Yeah, Kobe will be unstopable again, as well as Buynum will be healthy too ;)

Bunnies again may well be the difference, rims and refs aside ;)

Flea markets all over the U.S. are selling "L.A. 2008 World Champ" memorabilia, but I still think $2 is to much to pay for their loser T-shirt :)

You need to read the fine print on the bottom of the page:

"Please Note: This is a pre-sell item, in the event that this team chokes away a 24 point lead at home and then gets blown out by 39 in an elimination game, your order will be canceled."

  • I Love NUMBA 17 !
My copy should be coming in next week.
Can't wait to watch it w/ the hubby!

It's still so amazing to me when I think about what my fav team accomplished. I'm so proud of the entire organization. (esp my Pierce)
