My first Red Sox game was in 1965 against the Minnesota Twins.  I become enamored with Tony Oliva on tha t day and intensely followed the remainder of his career.  I became an island of one - a Boston born Twins fan.  I have reduced my interest in baseball through the years, but have to say my loyalty, strange as it is, is still with the Twins.

Red Sox took first two games so it won't be the Twins we lose the WC lead to this week. Perhaps we will lose the WC lead to the A's instead.
