Besides Cleveland there is a real possibility that Baron joins Brand in LA. Brand specifically mentioned that he wanted to learn from the Celtics example. Bringing Davis to LA would allow them to put an amazing roster on the floor:

Davis
Mobley
Thorton (Magette if the can keep him)
Brand
Kaman

They could also put together a solid supporting cast w/ Brevin Knight (Livingston) off the bench.

They can't keep Maggette and Livingston to sign Davis. Unless they go for a S&T, offering Thomas+picks+filler, but Stirling is too cheap for that.

If GS is making offers to Arenas (I think he stays in DC), sounds like Davis is a gone. If he goes to Cleveland we may be able to get Delonte back. Getting interesting. Davis has tried this kind of thing before; but would be surprised if he leaves LA. Lakers and Clippers probably most likely beneficiaries. Is he fleeing the curse of Stephen Jackson or are the buds? Only way he stays would be S&T Jackson and Harrington for Brand + ?; but not sure that makes much sense for Clippers.

Don't forget Cleveland, which always tries to get into the mix for point guards.  They'll probably offer Wally's contract plus draft picks in a sign and trade, although they don't have a lot of other assets.
I wouldn't include Cleveland. Why would GSW want to do a sign-and-trade with Cleveland? They have nothing to offer to expiring contracts.

Cap space right now or pay bad players money for a year and cap space then. For Cleveland to be an option in this they'd need to be able to put some quality young players on the table along with the expiring contracts and then the other team might consider it.

For the the same reason I don't think the Cavs have a shot at Elton Brand.

There's nothing to gain by doing a sign-and-trade. GSW and the Clipps should and will turn down any offers for a sign and trade with Cleveland.
